Rolling Stones at the cinema
Scorsese presents Shine a light!:
From Scorsese's hand and Mick Jagger's original idea comes to our screens a new documentary about Rolling Stones. But it is not an ordinary documentary but is about a concert filmed with the best cameras and photographic techniques of the best Hollywood world.
Does the location chosen? The Beacon Theatre in New York, a small site, welcoming and family to enjoy the best of the Stones during their tour "A Bigger Band Tour." However, the idea was taken from the original singer of the Stones, who thought of filming one of his concerts, as they are big events that are worth recording. Mick had thought in an open site, where large entering thousands of people so that the destination was more favorable in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. A concert on the beach, outdoors where the cameras did not bother to either the band or the audience.
But Scorsese had a better idea and, despite early denials Mick, decided to risk everything in a small theater downtown New York.
And the result is a concert with major holdings such as Jack White, Buddy Guy and the Christina Aguilera's powerful voice.
I will be leaving on Saturday to see it, soon you promise a review. But beware… I am a fan of the Stones indisputable.
